Collins CTC is hiring an Aerospace & Aviation Instructor to lead our aviation career pathway for high school students. This role introduces students to careers in professional piloting and/or aircraft maintenance. You'll teach ground school content, run hands-on labs with simulators and aircraft components, and help students earn industry certifications and connections that lead straight into aviation careers.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and deliver aviation career pathway curriculum, focused on professional piloting and/or aircraft maintenance based on the instructor's certification and experience.
• Teach ground school and technical content aligned to the program track, such as aerodynamics, weather, regulations, and flight planning for piloting, or airframe systems, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols for maintenance.
• Lead hands-on labs and practical training using flight simulators, aircraft components, or maintenance tools and equipment appropriate to the program track.
• Build and maintain relationships with aviation employers, flight schools, and post-secondary aviation programs to create internship, certification, and career pathway opportunities for students.
• Prepare students for industry certification exams and post-secondary entry, such as FAA written and practical tests, A&P certification exams, or college aviation program admission.
• Track student progress toward program benchmarks and industry credential requirements.
• Contribute to program marketing and social media, such as highlighting student projects, industry visits, and career pathway milestones.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
