Join our adult education team to train the next generation of sterile processing professionals. As a part-time instructor, you’ll prepare students to meet national certification standards for sterile processing and central service work in healthcare. You'll lead both classroom and hands-on instruction. We’re looking for someone dependable, experienced, and committed to student success.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Certified Registered Central Service Technician Instructor or equivalent.\
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in surgical technology or a related field
• Eligible for Adult Education Permit as required by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce
• Meets all health requirements mandated by law (e.g., tuberculosis test)
• Successfully passes BCI/FBI background check as required by Board policy

Job Responsibilities

• Teach course content aligned with CRCST certification standards
• Supervise students in classroom, lab, and clinical settings
• Coordinate clinical placements with healthcare partners
• Maintain student records and track certification progress
• Ensure lab equipment is maintained and sanitized
• Follow all district policies and complete required training
• Contribute to marketing and communications, including social media posts
• Support the mission of the Lawrence County JVS District
