Description

We are looking for a dedicated Intervention Specialist to support students with disabilities at our career technical high school. This role involves co-teaching, creating and managing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and working closely with students, families, and staff to ensure academic and personal success. You will join a team committed to helping all students transition successfully to life after high school.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or related field
  • Valid Ohio teaching license in Intervention Specialist or ability to obtain one
  • Experience writing and managing IEPs
  • Experience providing instruction to students with disabilities
  • Knowledge of co-teaching practices and Ohio State Standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to pass BCI/FBI background check and meet state health requirements
  • Experience working with diverse student populations preferred
